The Beginning

The First Departure

Left Nepal at eighteen to read Computer Science in Rajasthan.

B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering at Suresh Gyan Vihar University — four years of data structures, networks, Java and MATLAB, finishing with a final grade of 1.3. The first GitHub repository went up in October 2017, the same month the degree started. It was called "beginning-".

LUNGTA • WIND HORSES

The Mountain Pass

In the high Himalayas, before embarking across continents, travelers hoist flags on the highest ridge. Five sacred colors for sky, wind, fire, water, and earth. As the wind touches the cloth, prayers are carried across every valley you leave behind.

The Years That Changed Everything

Nepal to Bavaria, to read Data Science at FAU.

M.Sc. Data Science at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Machine learning, time series analysis, explainable AI, pattern recognition — and a master project evaluating the Segment Anything Model zero-shot against BraTS 2020 MRI scans. German from nothing, and still climbing.

AI-Visibility Lead Console

Designer & Developer

A multi-stage AI pipeline — discover, enrich, score, audit, generate — that finds local businesses invisible to AI search, grades their presence, and writes each gap up as a branded audit report.

Impact

Provider-agnostic LLM layer across Claude, OpenAI and Gemini, with grounded live-web queries. Operator console on Streamlit Cloud, reports on Cloudflare Pages, lead discovery via the Google Places API.

Restaurant QR Ordering System

Full-Stack Developer

Scan the QR code on the table, read the menu, order, and watch the kitchen pick it up live. Customer ordering, kitchen display and admin dashboard in one system.

Impact

Real-time order tracking and kitchen-queue updates over Supabase subscriptions, with Row Level Security on database access. Relational schema and serverless API routes validated with Zod.

A personal expense tracker built for the moment of spending — fast capture on a phone, per-category monthly budgets, and analytics that show where the month actually went.

Impact

FastAPI and PostgreSQL behind a React PWA, containerised with Docker and served behind nginx. Running in production at trailbucks.ajsolutions.tech.

PROJECT 042025

Zero-Shot SAM for MRI Segmentation

Master Project

How well does the Segment Anything Model handle medical imaging it was never trained on? An evaluation of SAM against BraTS 2020 brain MRI datasets.

Impact

Compared point, box and mask prompting with Dice and IoU metrics, then stress-tested robustness under noise, blur and prompt perturbation — surfacing the limits that matter before anyone deploys it clinically.

IDRandom-Forest for IoT

Collaborating Developer

Real-time intrusion detection for IoT devices, implemented as a research collaboration on an M.Tech thesis at NIT Jalandhar.

Impact

Stratified subspace feature weighting and accuracy-based ensemble pruning in scikit-learn, benchmarked against Random Forest, SVM, Decision Tree and MLP baselines — 97.3% on the BoT-IoT dataset with reduced ensemble complexity.

SPARQL Data Source for Grafana

Plugin Developer

A custom Grafana data-source plugin that queries SPARQL 1.1 endpoints directly, pulling RDF-based linked data into interactive analytics dashboards.

Impact

Bridges semantic-web data and mainstream observability tooling — linked data becomes something you can chart next to everything else.

The people who know the data

At FAU CDI the hardest part was never the PHP. It was sitting with researchers until the thing on screen matched the thing they actually meant.

Someone else’s thesis

An M.Tech researcher at NIT Jalandhar needed an intrusion-detection algorithm built and benchmarked. Being the engineer on another person’s research teaches you whose name belongs on it.

Things I Learned

01
“Leaving is a skill. It gets easier and it never gets easy.”

— Birgunj to Jaipur, 2017

02
“Unglamorous software that someone relies on beats elegant software nobody runs.”

— Addysan, Noida

03
“A stack is a tool, not an identity. PHP taught me the same discipline Python did.”

— Six years, five languages

04
“Research data is only as good as the person willing to ask whether it is wrong.”

— FAU CDI, Erlangen

05
“Evaluating a model honestly means looking for where it fails, not where it shines.”

— Zero-shot SAM on MRI

06
“Learning a language at twenty-four is a lesson in being a beginner in public.”

— German, A2 and climbing
